I've pretty much neglected my blog so I'm going to revamp and start again!
This might take a while.

I have a bit of a crush on these Russell & Bromley's... What do you think? I'm not quite sure if I would wear them but would love to! Im thinking...cropped jeans and a boyfriend blazer? Hmm. At £155 (wow) I think im going to wait and see if I would actually wear them.. although I do love them at the moment
Absolutely LOVING! the new season trousers from Topshop. I'm not too keen on patterned bottom half clothing but these are so gorg...
The trousers would look nice teamed up with a baggy tee and some brogues or for a more sophisticated look with heels a shirt and even a matching short blazer!
I normally wear darker colours and the lightest bottom half peice of clothing I have is a pair of light skinny jeans but I am definatly going to purchase a pair of the orange lace pair of trousers or even the yellow! They are great for the summer and I would love to rock these!

I used to be very attached to my MAC make up. I used to swear by it and never wear anything but MAC until it made my face extremely dry .. My make up would look awful, very clumpy and patchy so I thought I'd try a different brand for once. I was quite weary of the fact that I was going to change brand after a few years of using the same make up but it for the better.
Now I use Maybelline and Rimmel. The products work perfectly with my skin and give my face such a smooth and non shiny finish like a lot of make up.
My favourite has to be Maybelline's smooth base primer and omg is it smooth. It's the smoothest of all smooths haha!
Here it is... You should try it.

The next one is the perfect shade of Red Mac Lipstick. I must get myself down to a Mac Cosmetic store and find the perfect shade that matches my skin tone as I find it hard to make a match online.
The next item on my wishlist are the lovely wooden wedge heels from Topshop! They are perfect for Spring/Summer and would look gorgeous with jeans or dress. I think these will be my payday purcahse at the end of the month. Lastly a H&M dress that I spotted online. The shape is very boxed and casual but the material of the dress would look sophisticated with a pair of heels with a high bun and a gold chain/black side bag to match the gold stud detailing around the neck and zip of the dress! The dress at £29.99 is such a bargain, I must buy it

I'm not really a trainer person, mainly because most trainers can be very 'boyish' but I do have a bit of a soft spot for trainers now, especially Converses and Nike Blazers. I decided to look up online tutorials on how to customise your own footwear and decided to add Swarovski elements to the front of my converses and I love them!!
I bought a range of coloured crystals but absolutely love the clear ones as they are the sparkliest ones!
I love wearing them and have bought 3 pairs since the beginning of the month! ..(oops)
A lot of people have been asking me to do theirs so will charge as the Swarovski crystals can be quite pricey and the Gem glue is around £10 (and runs out very quickly)
They are so simple to try out yourself as long as you buy the correct stuff! I'm going to try my Nike Blazers soon, and maybe crystalise my own phone case :)

Oops. Haven't posted for a while been busy with a LOAD of work! I promise to stay much more faithful to my blog!! I'd love to make my blog more interactive and more fun to read rather than just a standard blog... So I'm on a mission to find tutorials or something as I'm literally a beginner. If anyone could help that would be great!!

I'm not too keen on music without words as I love a singalong or a kareoke night! But my new phase is house music. I love the new Hot Creations Album, I listening to it on repeat all day whilst working! The customers love listening to it whilst tanning too as it seems to remind everybody of summer and their holidays.
My favourite song is benediction by Hot Natured and Ali Love. Although it's house music (a lot of people assume it's just noise) it actually has words in it... Reminds you of the summer and you can sing along and boogy to it? We're all happy ;)

This weekend I've been very busy working 8 hour shifts in a Tanning Shop. As a student I need my part time job to pay the bills and of course treat myself to some retail therapy on my days off (when I have no essay deadlines coming up)
The Tanning Shop is a chain of shops all over the UK who sell many products, even make up! The bronzer in stock is from the shops very own range 'California Tan'. I've always wanted to try out the pink packaged makeup but never got round to it... Payday was Friday, so I thought I'd give it a try!
I love the brush! The bristles are short but ever so soft which I find rather impressive as all of my short brushes are so rough. I would give the actual bronzer a 7/10 because it's VERY glittery and quite dark on my face, especially as it's winter.
Ill put the bronzer aside for now and maybe try it again in the summer or on holiday but I will continue to use the brush :)

I didnt really watch the National Television Awards but that didnt stop me from reading newspapers and looking online to see what the celebrities wore! My fav outfit was worn by Zoe Hardman the TV Presenter who presents Take me out : Gossip along with Mark Wright (who also looked handsome).
The halter neck draped dress really stood out from the other classic red carpet dresses... Good choice Zoe!

Shopping
Yesterday my uni friends and I went to my local shopping centre Stratford Westfield for a good old spend after our uni loans had gone in (after all you do have to treat yourself sometimes).
Whilst everyone purchased bargains I struggled to find something that stood out from the dull sales so I headed over to H&M, I always get my favourite tops from here!
The winter wardrobe has now changed into Spring wear with thinner jumpers and colourful prints ready for the summer. Although there was mostly office/ smart wear I really liked the colours going on! Floral pinks and a lot of oranges (love orange at the mo).
My first purchase was an oversized black buttoned shirt with thinner sleeves so you could ruche is up and a blingy, gem collar. I saw this shirt on the site the night before so HAD to purchase it. The sizes are S, M or L with the sizes being quite big. They also have this shirt in white which im also very keen on..

Sadly I can't seem to find an image of my fav purchase but will upload one of me wearing it asap. It was a lovely white 1/4 length sleeved blouse with a sort of kaleidoscope floral pattern going on at the top of the blouse. It has a high rounded neckline which is very flattering. The silky material and bright floral colours on the front make it perfect to wear on a spring/summers day. I would pair with light skinny jeans and tan wedges for a 'liquid lunch with the girls' day out look.
Hello everyone I'm Brooke and this blog is all about the weird and wonderful things that I basically like to blab on about in every day life.
How do you desribe a 'typical girl'? because I most probably am one. Uni student studying Media, from London and hoping to pursue a career in journalism/ or maybe the tea girl at Vogue or something ;)
Oh and here's me!! Just so you can put a face to the voice/ posts
